Drop a .meta or .xml file on each side. Meta Compare reads both and lists every value that changed or exists on only one side, so you can see what an update or another pack did. Search for a value, edit it in place on either side, undo, and save a copy.
A plain text diff flags every reordered line and whitespace change. Meta Compare reads the XML and compares the values by their place in the file, so formatting doesn't drown out the real differences, such as a changed handling value or a different texture dictionary name.
Yes. Any two meta files work: handling.meta from two cars, an old and a new vehicles.meta, or carcols.meta from two packs. Values are matched by where they sit in the file, so compare the same kind of file on both sides. Both files are read in your browser; nothing is uploaded.
Everything runs in your browser. Files you open stay on your computer; exports are downloads. Workspace, Conflict Check and GTA Library need direct disk access and aren't available on the web.
