FiveM Tools FAQ

What are the GXD FiveM Tools?

The GXD Vehicle Toolkit on the web — over thirty free tools for FiveM creators and server owners that run in your browser: livery design with a 3D preview, every vehicle meta, sirens and ELS configs, meta compare, fxmanifest, packing and renaming, plates, hashes. There is nothing to download or install.

Who can use them?

Anyone. Every tool is free and opens without signing in — no purchase, account or Discord role needed. Signing in with Cfx.re is optional.

Do my files get uploaded?

No. Every tool processes files in your browser. The only thing that goes to GXD is a count of which tool was used (by your name if you are signed in, otherwise just as a guest) — nothing about what you did in it or which files you opened, and no IP address.

Is it finished?

The tools are in beta. Most things work, but you may find bugs, odd results or tools that change between versions. Please report anything that goes wrong in the GXD Discord so we can fix it.

How do I report a bug?

Open a ticket or post in the Discord with: which tool, what you did, what you expected, what happened, and the file if you can share it.

Will they change or break my files?

No tool writes to your PC. Everything you make is a download (a PNG, a ZIP, a .meta, a .lua) — your originals are untouched.

What happened to the desktop Toolkit app?

Its portable tools moved here, so you don’t need Windows, a download or a licence. What can’t run in a browser — compiling native GTA files (.yft/.ytd/.ydd) and reading your GTA install — stays in your modelling tools.

What do they run on?

Any current Chrome, Edge, Firefox or Safari on Windows, Mac or Linux. The 3D views (Asset Viewer, Livery Workshop, Signal Bench, Icon Maker) need WebGL (every current browser has it).

All free, for everyone — nothing to download or install, no account needed. Questions go to the GXD Discord.
