Handling Tuner Free FiveM handling.meta editor and tuner
Open a handling.meta or start from a base, tune each value with an explanation of what it does, compare before and after, and save the file.
This tool is in beta, so you may hit bugs or rough edges. If something breaks or looks wrong, please report it in the GXD Discord with what you did and a screenshot. Every report helps us fix it faster.
Handling Tuner
Open a handling.meta on the left (or drop it here), or start from one of the GXD examples. Every value comes with what it does, its unit and a usual range. Nothing is uploaded — it all happens in your browser.
Everything runs in your browser. Your files never leave your computer.
Questions about Handling Tuner
What this free tool does, what it makes and how the files go into FiveM.
Top speed mostly comes from fInitialDriveMaxFlatVel and acceleration from fInitialDriveForce in the car's handling.meta, with gears, mass and drag playing a part. Open the file here, move the sliders and the tuner shows an estimated top speed and grip before and after. Save it and restart the resource to test in game.
Yes. The file is never rebuilt: only the values you change are written back in place, so comments, fields the tool doesn't know and SubHandlingData stay exactly as they were. A byte-order mark is kept as well, and every change can be undone and redone.
Each value has a plain explanation next to its slider — what fTractionCurveMax, fBrakeForce, fSuspensionForce and the rest do, and which way to move them. With no file of your own you can start from a GXD example, and you can compare against a second handling.meta to see how another car is set up.
